    Hi Dr,

    May i know how much the down payment for single curve braces, only for upper teeth? Maybe you have any suggestion on the economic dental service for braces in Selangor area? Well, Ampang would be great. Thanks doc!

    Hi Amalina,
    Usually you’ll need to do the upper and lower teeth together as they work in tandem when you eat. The down payment is about RM1500. Drop in on Friday or Saturday afternoons in the Taman Melawati clinic (which happens to be close to Ampang) as we have a visiting orthodontist there on those days.

    Hello dr
    Long time ago (10yrs before ) dentist filled up one of my lower tooth with a metal peice ( to cover up the bacteria affected area)
    Now the metal piece came out already !!!

    so what kind of treatment i can do now ?
    what will be the costing and how many hours required to do the same ?

    i stay in Kl so is it possible to do it at Raja Laut clinic

    Hi Yoganand,

    You probably need to replace the metal filling.
    The best thing to do is to come in for a proper check-up so we can give you an idea of what you need to do and how much the treatment will come to. You may be surprised to find out it may just need a simple filling wich costs between RM70 to RM80 and that’s it! However the longer you wait, the more complicated the treatment may be required to fix it.
